Then I installed HP Smartcard Keyboard Driver 1.2.0.0 Rev.A (sp93518) from official HP website. Really without available drivers, the only thing I can suggest is to uninstall that device from inside Device Manager, then re-start your PC and then reconnect the smart card reader to get Windows to load the driver again.
