This document specifies the operating system interface for the multi-purpose Smart Cards intended to be used in the context of the applications in India. It covers the interface details of the smart card operating system.The SCOSTA-CL is compatible to the following ISO standards for the Smart Cards. • ISO/IEC 7816-4:2005, Identification cards – Integrated circuit cards – Part 4: Organization, security and commands for interchange • ISO/IEC 7816-5:2003, Identification cards – Integrated circuit cards – Part 5: Registration of application identifiers
