I have a problem with HP EliteBook 845 14 inch G10 (product 8F8A6UA) and "Active Smart Card Reader". Originally my laptop came without an "Active Smart Card Reader", so I procured a replacement part "N02323-001" (Card reader) and N09040-001 (Cable kit). The laptop has an internal smart card reader. It isn't working fully. I have updated and tried downgrading drivers with no change in behavior. I've also checked for windows updates (windows 10), and everything is up to date. I recetly installed Alcor Smart Card Reader driver for Windows 10, in order to use Smart card in my HP EliteBook 8570p. When I insert card, the reader recognize it and I can use my it normaly, with the software I supose to. After I eject the card and put it back again, the reader is not responding.
